Optimaxx is a top-quality extreme-performance wood screw that incorporates a number of unique features.

A specifically positioned long thin groove dramatically reduces the pressure build up on insertion by dispensing wood fibres, preventing splitting when screwing close to the edge. The razor-sharp point ensures you have an immediate start even in the hardest, smoothest surfaces.

The consistent slash at the end of the screw is exclusive to Optimaxx and is designed to pull you in smoothly and quickly and to pull out the material from the hole. Above this self-drill point is a sharp serrated saw-tooth formation that cuts out of the bottom threads and bites into the timber to reduce torque and resistance. This enables fast penetration without a pilot hole, even when working close to the edge.

An exclusive feature you won’t find with no other brand on the market other than Optimaxx is the double reinforced collar which strengthens the underside of the head.
