Short Arm for Access The L-key’s short arm enables you to stay close to the fastener so that you can work in tighter spaces and with greater control High Leverage Our L-keys are longer in overall length compared to competitors, providing increased leverage where it matters Tight Fit with Fasteners We precisely manufacture our hex key geometry on the large end of the applicable range, resulting in less slop in fasteners 20-Degree Ball End Our keys implement a steep ball end angle, which increases your ability to access fasteners while still maintaining sufficient strength Markings and Finish Each key is marked with a high-visibility size indicator that can’t wear off and finished with a manganese phosphate coating that’s highly resistant to corrosion
Tekton’s short arm L-keys have one ball-end arm that’s the same length as our normal keys, and one flat-end short arm that’s markedly shorter than our regular keys. This shorter arm allows the key to fit into tighter spaces where a regular-sized key cannot. The short arm L-keys are made from 8660 nickel chromium molybdenum steel that’s heat-treated to 54-58 HRC and coated with a highly corrosion-resistant manganese phosphate finish. With the exception of the smallest sizes that are too small to mark, each key has a high-visibility laser marking and a stamped marking that won’t rub off.
